There are two types of people in the world… Which one are you? 1

Posted on August 29, 2009 by Elizabeth Samaniego

Hey!  It’s has been awhile since my last post. Things have been super busy.  Andrew (my stepson) started school last week and business has been keeping me busy, not to mention Bella who keeps me busy from the time she wakes up until the time she goes nighty night.

Well a couple of posts ago I told you about our friend Tom “Big Al” Schreiter and how he came out to speak at an event for us.  Well I told you I was going to share more of his “Magic Sequence of Words” that he shared with us. So here are a couple more that he gave us that seem to work really well.

There are two types of people in the world…  Those that get repeat customers and those that lose them to their competitors down the street.

Or if you are in my business……

There are two types of moms in the world… Those that love staying home with their kids and make only a few calls a day while their children are taking a nap and those that have to send their kids to daycare so that they can go to work and be away for 8-10 hrs a day.

You can structure this to what ever industry you are.  Just fill in the blanks.

There are two types of ______ in the world.  Those that ___________ and those that ___________.  Pretty easy right!

Here’s one more!

I just found out __________________.  You fill in the blank.  Here is one that I have used and that gets tons of curiosity.

I just found out how you can make more money part-time than your husband does full-time.  Or…I just found out how you can work part-time from home and get an extra paycheck every week.

I would love to hear your magic sequence of words that work for you!

Have a great weekend!

Liz

You should have said "Thank You"! 1

Hello! Well today I am going to talk about appreciation marketing for your home business. Not sure what I mean? Well if you have a home business or any kind of business you must have customers. And my question to you is do those customer keep coming back for more or refer anyone to you or your product?

If the answer is no then you must have not said “thank you”. Now I know you say thank you when they just bought whatever product you sell, but do you do anything after that? How can you get them to remember you and not go to someone else selling your same product?

I’ll tell you what I do. I’ll send them a Thank You card. No, not an email or text, but an actual greeting card. People love to feel appreciated. Trust me they will keep coming back for more because you took the time to let them know that you were thinking of them and that they weren’t just a quick sell.

I would love to hear the different ways you show appreciation to your customers that work for you. Please share!

Wishing you much success!

PS: Make sure to check this book out Appreciation Marketing at http://www.appreciationmarketing.com written by Tommy Wyatt & Curtis Lewsey.  I just ordered it yesterday!

Do You Know The Magic Sequence Of Words To Get Someone To Say Yes In Less Than 30 Seconds? I Do! 2

Posted on July 31, 2009 by Elizabeth Samaniego

Hey!  I just got back from a day at the museum with Bella. She had a blast! It’s funny because I haven’t been to that museum since I was a little girl. And guess what…it hasn’t changed a bit.

Well you are probably wondering what the heck is this question all about. “Do you know the magic sequence of words to get someone to say yes in less than 30 seconds?”  Well last week a good friend of ours Tom “Big Al” Schreiter was in town and spoke at our first MeetUp meeting last Sunday. If you don’t know who Tom Schreiter is then you must check out his site if you are in any network marketing opportunity. Let me just say he is the master of phrases.

He explained that people that you are approaching about your business opportunity make a decision in the first 30 seconds of you talking to them. Is that crazy or what!  So you have only 30 seconds to get them to say “Yes tell me more!” or “How do I get started?”.

So what would you say?  Well here are a few example of what you SHOULD say.

“Would it be ok, if…..”   DO NOT CHANGE THESE WORDS!

“Would it be ok, if you got an extra paycheck!”
“Would it be ok, if you got a tax refund?”
“Would it be ok, if you could keep all your customers?”
“Would it be ok, if you had a secret weapon to keep all your customers?”
“Would it be ok, if got new customers without advertising?”
“Would it be ok, if we could get your customers to come back and buy more house’s from you?”
“Would it be ok, if you never have to go to work again?”
“Would it be ok, if you got a weekly check, while your waiting for your deals to close?”

You must use small words easy to understand, no industry jargon (residual income, relationship marketing, etc)

Do you think a few of those phrases could help you get someone to say “YES”?

Change it up a bit and phrase it to whomever you are talking to whether it be a Realtor, Insurance Agent, Mortgage Broker, Stay-at-Home mom or dad.

Here is a phrase I use for moms “Would it be ok if I show you how you can make more part-time than your husband does full-time?”

Hopefully this helps!  I will make sure to post more of his “Magic Sequence of Words” in my next post.

Have a great one!

Liz
