Do You Know The Magic Sequence Of Words To Get Someone To Say Yes In Less Than 30 Seconds? I Do!

Hey!  I just got back from a day at the museum with Bella. She had a blast! It’s funny because I haven’t been to that museum since I was a little girl. And guess what…it hasn’t changed a bit.

Well you are probably wondering what the heck is this question all about. “Do you know the magic sequence of words to get someone to say yes in less than 30 seconds?”  Well last week a good friend of ours Tom “Big Al” Schreiter was in town and spoke at our first MeetUp meeting last Sunday. If you don’t know who Tom Schreiter is then you must check out his site if you are in any network marketing opportunity. Let me just say he is the master of phrases.

He explained that people that you are approaching about your business opportunity make a decision in the first 30 seconds of you talking to them. Is that crazy or what!  So you have only 30 seconds to get them to say “Yes tell me more!” or “How do I get started?”.

So what would you say?  Well here are a few example of what you SHOULD say.

“Would it be ok, if…..”   DO NOT CHANGE THESE WORDS!

“Would it be ok, if you got an extra paycheck!”
“Would it be ok, if you got a tax refund?”
“Would it be ok, if you could keep all your customers?”
“Would it be ok, if you had a secret weapon to keep all your customers?”
“Would it be ok, if got new customers without advertising?”
“Would it be ok, if we could get your customers to come back and buy more house’s from you?”
“Would it be ok, if you never have to go to work again?”
“Would it be ok, if you got a weekly check, while your waiting for your deals to close?”

You must use small words easy to understand, no industry jargon (residual income, relationship marketing, etc)

Do you think a few of those phrases could help you get someone to say “YES”?

Change it up a bit and phrase it to whomever you are talking to whether it be a Realtor, Insurance Agent, Mortgage Broker, Stay-at-Home mom or dad.

Here is a phrase I use for moms “Would it be ok if I show you how you can make more part-time than your husband does full-time?”

Hopefully this helps!  I will make sure to post more of his “Magic Sequence of Words” in my next post.

Have a great one!

Do Your Customers Keep Coming Back For More? I Have 4 Ways To Make Them Want To!

Hello! Well it is another hot one in the Inland Empire today.  I just got my walk with Bella done and she is down for her nap.  Well before I went on my walk I made sure not to miss the call with David Frey on the Telesummit that I had posted a link to on Twitter, Facebook and here on my blog. There was some great lead generation tips that anyone could use.

The 4 tips he gave were about how to generate “Buyer Leads”.  A buyer lead is a person that has spent some money with you already. Remember when people invest in you they are emotional invested in you too.

1. Offer something for FREE
Ex. CD, DVD then charge shipping and handling.

2. 100% Affiliate Products
Get others to promote your products. They will forward it to their list and this will you tons of exposure.  So if someone gets your FREE CD or DVD make this an offer.

3. One Time Offer
Create a product like an EBook and sell it as a bonus after someone gets your FREE CD or DVD.

4. Hold Teleseminars or Webinars
The way to make sure that they will attend is to charge a fee. Something as little as $1. Again if someone invests in you they are more likely to attend.

David Frey is also in my home business SendOutCards. He mentioned in the call how he use it for his business, like when he gets the attendees contact information from the speaking engagements he does.  He makes sure to follow up with them immediately using this marketing system.

This is a marketing system that will allow you to send 1 card, 10 cards or 10,000 cards with just a click.  And the best part is that it is personalized with your handwriting.

Well tomorrow is another day, so make sure to listen in.  See my previous post for the list of speakers and times or just register for the calls right now. Don’t miss out again!  CLICK HERE

Wishing you much success!

Are You Open To Change If It Could Make a Difference In Your Life?

I was listening to a speaker by the name of Joel Osteen this morning and he was speaking about getting out of your comfort zone and being open to change.  Now I know that no one really likes change.  But what if it could make a difference in your life? What I mean by this is that there are so many opportunities for people to have a better future for themselves and their family.  But they are so close minded or just plain scared that they are not willing to look outside of the box.

I was watching the news this morning and they were talking about the millions of people who have lost their jobs, the  economy…blah..blah…blah.  I don’t even like watching the news anymore because it is so depressing.  I then flipped the channel on to a morning show and on that was a segment about Home Businesses.  I don’t think I have ever seen any news show talking about a home business.  It was really great to see.  This just shows you that there are other alternatives to a 9-5 job.

You can be your own boss!

There was a women on there that had been with a particular home business that made over 100,000 over the course of 13 years and that was only because she was doing it a few hours a week and she also had a 9-5 job.  Imagine if she had done it full-time.

The key is finding the right home business that works for you and having fun doing it, but first you have to be open for change. Change your mindset and know that you can do anything you put your mind to!

Check out my home business and please let me know what you think! CLICK HERE

Wishing you much success in whatever business you choose!

Can Your Visions & Dreams Really Come To A Reality? It did for my friend.

Hi! I hope you enjoy this story that I am going to share. It is about someone’s vision that has come to a reality. I recently got involved with her program called Birthday Bags for Kids (BB4K). Here is Julie’s story…..

I am married to Kip Farquhar and have 2 children, Kyle, 9 (on 6/23) and Bailey, 6. I have lived in Redlands my entire life! I love Redlands! My husbands family, the Farquhar’s have been here since 1887. My number one hobby/job is being a mom. That is the most important thing to me. I love being with my family and being involved in my children’s activities. I’ve always had an interest in birthday party planning for children and at one time tried a business of making specialty gift baskets (The kids’ baskets were my favorite!). I guess the two sort of came together but in a way I never expected.

While doing some volunteer work this past Christmas, I began thinking of a way I could help children throughout the year. It was a fleeting thought of possibly giving birthday parties to children whose parents couldn’t afford to give them one. While working full-time, I knew this wasnt possible so the idea evolved into filling birthday bags with lots of fun toys and candy. At first I wondered if there was even a need…if there were actually children out there who’s parents couldn’t afford to buy them a birthday gift and that maybe my idea was just plain silly. After all, I would consider my kids spoiled and couldn’t imagine there were parents who were unable to give their child at least a small toy for their special day.

Soon, I learned, after contacting several local agencies, that not only were there children here locally, who often do not get a gift at all on their birthday, but there were lots of them. What a sad, sad thought. I couldn’t imagine not being able to give my children a birthday gift. I ran my idea past a couple of friends, saying, ” What do you think about this? I would like to help brighten the birthdays of children in need by giving them a fun birthday bag full of toys and candy. I could solicit donations from friends, family, and the community.”
Feeling shot down with the response of ,” I don’t think people will want to help you with the economy the way it is. I don’t think you’ll be able to get donations”…”It’s a nice thought, but I doubt it would work.” or “you shouldn’t enable these parents”.

I agreed, my idea was silly and decided to forget about it. I went to bed that night and woke up with an even bigger desire to want to do this. That morning, I sent an email out to my friends and family. Within two weeks I had a car full of toys! Birthday Bags for kids was born. During our first month, we delivered 44 birthday bags to children in Redlands alone. Birthday Bags 4 Kids continues to gain momentum and I am very excited about where it could go. My big dream is to really grow this program…to be able to reach out to more and more children and their families… despite zip codes. To bring families together…to have a part in helping to create happy memories. I am so grateful for the support of everyone who has kept this program alive, in one way or another, in the last 6 months.

If you would like to help her give needy kids a Happy Birthday please visit her website www.BirthdayBags4Kids.org

She has a list of kids every month ranging from 1-12 years old who need a gift bag. It could be 10 things from the dollar store. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

I will keep you up to date on all the happenings with this awesome cause. We are also in the works of developing a blog for BB4K.

Have a great day!

It's time to party!!! Any ideas???

Happy Friday!  Well it is a beautiful Fri afternoon.  Can you believe it is already going into the 2nd week of the month.  Well it is time for Carlos and I to start planning Andrew’s Beach Party. He is turning 13 on the 28th.  Where does the time go? We plan on hanging out in Laguna for the day and making a bonfire in the evening.  It will be totally awesome dude! ;-)

I am looking for the perfect birthday invitation.  Now this is something I love to do.  I am so not the creative person but with SendOutCards I can be.  I just used it for Bella’s 2nd birthday invitations. Well I better get to planning.  If any of you have any ideas or games for Andrew’s beach party please share them. I need all the help I can get!

Have a great weekend!

Are you at 12 o'clock?

Hey!  It’s is a sunny Wed. afternoon and I just got Bella down for a nap.  Well I just wanted to take a minute and ask this question though it may sound a little weird.  Are you at 12 o’clock?  What I mean by this question is are you ready to take the next step to having the freedom and lifestyle that you deserve.  Let’s face it times are not getting better and more and more people are losing their jobs. There is no such thing as “job security”.  That is unless you are the boss.  I think that is why I love the business me and my husband are in.

I know that some of you already have a business and you maybe doing great.  But then there are some of you that haven’t yours off the ground yet.  If this sounds like you please don’t get discouraged.  Even though it is really easy to do.  I was listening to a top Network Marketer the other day and he was explaining that maybe we just aren’t catching people at 12 o’clock. Maybe they’re at 2 o’clock and will be at 12 o’clock in a month, 6months or a year. That point is it’s just not their time, so don’t get discouraged.

So when you talk to that next person and share what you do and they seem interested but just aren’t ready for whatever reason like money or time to make the commitment to get started, fhat just means they aren’t at 12 o’clock yet.  Remember for approx every 30 people you talk to you you will have one that will be interested.  But that ONE person could be your Superstar!  So keep doing what you are doing and don’t give up!

Here are a few key things to listen for when someone is talking, whether you know them or overhear them in a coffee shop. “I hate my job”, “I wish I had more money”, I wish I had enough money for a vacation” or “I just lost my job”.

Your answer can be something like “I Might Have A Solution For You” and then maybe ask for their email or address and send them some info about your business.  Keep it simple and don’t overwhelm them with info about your business right then and there.

Good luck!

PS. If you don’t have a business or are trying to find the right one that works for you I Might Have A Solution for you :-)

What time does your alarm clock wake you up in the morning? 5am? 6am?

Happy Monday!  Well I hope you had a great 4th of July. We had a blast this weekend.  Literally!!!  We enjoyed time with family and friends.  We watched the most awesome fireworks show at the University of Redlands, actually my sister-in-law lives across the street so we got a free show ;-)

Well the reason I titled this “What time does your alarm clock wake you up in the morning?” Is because I know that some of you actually live by an alarm clock.  Why?  Because you have a job and a boss that will fire you if you aren’t there on time.  Well that was me a couple of years ago.  I woke up at 5:20am Monday thru Friday.  I drove an 45 minutes to work in the morning and then an hour or sometimes longer to get home.  This sucked!!!

Well I gave up that world about 2 years ago and now my alarm clock is Bella.  What could be better than that?  Nothing!!!!  I am so thankful that I don’t have to leave her for 8+ hours a day.  Would you  love that too?

Just imagine your son or daughter shaking your arm asking “Mom, what are we going to do together today?”

Having the freedom to do what you want and when you want.  What if I could show you how I do this?  I am enjoying all of my daughter’s “firsts”, meaning first smile, first steps, first words….first everything.  I am not missing out on any of this.  I would love for every mom in the world to be able to be just like me.

I guess the big question is “Do you really want this kind of life?”

If the answer is “Yes” then this might be the solution!  http://tinyurl.com/l24u5x

Have a great day!

It's been a crazy past few days… Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson & Bill Mays!

Wow!   A lot has been happening in the world. Much sadiness with these celebrity deaths.  It makes you think about your life and how anything can happen at anytime.  This is why you should enjoy everyday with your family.  Never let a day go by without an “I love you” a kiss and a hug.  This is so very important.

Remember life always has its up and downs and no pill, drug or drink will ever make it better.  It is just a temporary fix that could lead to the unthinkable.

May God be with all of these families and get them through this sad time.

It's almost Father's Day!

Hello! Can you believe it is already the middle of the month and Father’s Day is this Sunday.  I just sent my dad his Father’s Day card!  I made a special one just for him using pictures of me and my family.  Guess what I didn’t even have to leave home to make it either and no standing in front of the card isle with all those other people and I didn’t even need to go buy stamps. I would love to share how I did this, just go to www.sendoutcards.com/bella

Send a card to your dad, someone in your family or a friend on me!  Dad’s are special too!  Make sure they know it!

Have a great one!
